Night game drives: the bush after dark.
When the sun sets, a different Africa awakens. Guided by expert trackers and an armed ranger, you'll explore private concessions with specialised spotlights — witnessing behaviour few travellers ever see.
Drives begin after dinner, around 8pm, and last two to three hours in open 4x4 vehicles. The soundtrack alone — roaring lions, calling hyenas, a chorus of insects — is unforgettable.

What to expect
A night safari, start to finish.
After-dinner departure
Drives set off around 8pm and run for two to three hours, returning you to camp for a sound night's sleep.
Sounds of the wild
Roaring lions, the whoop of hyenas, the rustle of unseen movement — the African night has a voice all its own.
Spotlight tracking
Specialised lights safely reveal nocturnal wildlife without disturbing it, guided by expert eyes and an armed ranger.
Exceptional stargazing
Far from city lights, the night sky blazes. The Serengeti's remoteness makes for some of Africa's finest stargazing.
Warm layers advised
Evenings on the plains turn cool — bring a warm jacket. We provide blankets, and the campfire does the rest.
